Dear Reader,
Welcome to Workplace Karma! This space has been my scratchpad of reflection and learning since 2015. I have more than 13 years of experience as a TL&D (training, learning, and development) practitioner. My focus lies in strategizing, designing, and activating L&D operating models, desiging and executing L&D and talent strategies, impact measurement, and culture enablement. Till date, I have lived and worked in India, USA, and Switzerland.
Quite organically, I’ve grown into something of a TL&D specialist for pharma, biotech, and medical devices organizations. Learning solutions designed by me have been instrumental to clinical study and site activation, medical affairs & commercial leadership building, and medical devices fieldforce & compliance excellence. Some of my work has also been recognized by industry bodies and I have been published in industry publications of note.
Why Workplace Karma?
I love my work, and take care to ensure that I can continue to do so. This means:
- learning continually,
- applying and fine-tuning my curiosity and creativity,
- networking with other TL&D practitioners, and,
- giving back to the TL&D community.
These approaches have served me well. I’m lucky to have worked with passionate colleagues and mentors on high-impact programs that have measurably transformed employee performance.
I believe work is an important part of life, and values like joy, respect, pursuit of excellence, and collaboration can be practiced at work to enrich both the workplace and our lives. The name of this blog is therefore a testament to my attitude towards work as also a nod to my Indian roots.
I hope some of my posts here on Workplace Karma will be of interest to you. If you so like, please leave a reply below telling me about yourself and of your interest in training and/ or learning (the e-mail field doesn’t need to be filled in).
